It’s starting to get really warm again and what could be better than a refreshing ice cream? In addition to classic cream ice cream or a fruity sorbet, a delicious frozen yoghurt is a wonderfully light alternative. This delicious dessert has become a real trend in recent years and is winning over more and more hearts. In keeping with the strawberry season, this time we made a frozen yogurt with strawberries. We prepared the frozen yoghurt very simply using the Ninja Creami**. It takes just a few minutes to prepare and the frozen yoghurt is super creamy.
What makes frozen yogurt so popular? Well, apart from its refreshing taste, it also has some nutritional benefits compared to traditional ice cream. It contains less fat and calories and is a good source of protein and calcium. It also contains active cultures of probiotic bacteria, which can have a positive effect on digestion. This means you don’t have to feel too guilty about eating frozen yogurt.
Making it yourself also allows you to control the ingredients and possibly create a healthier version of the dessert.
You can order the Ninja Creami** here:
If you don’t like strawberries or can’t get any, you can of course use any other fruit you like. Incidentally, the recipe works wonderfully with both fresh and frozen strawberries. If you don’t want to use normal sugar, you can also replace it with honey or another sweetener of your choice.

If you don’t eat the whole portion, you can simply freeze the rest. To do this, smooth out the remaining frozen yogurt in the container and put it back in the freezer. The ice cream mixture will then be as firm as when it was first made. Simply repeat step 4 and enjoy your delicious homemade frozen yogurt.
