Amarena cherry ice cream is one of my favorite ice cream flavors, so I had to try it at Ninja Creami**. It tastes sweet, fruity and, of course, creamy. I used ready-made Amarena cherries in this recipe. But you can also make them yourself with a little Amaretto.
Whenever there is a delicious ice cream somewhere, Amarena cherry ice cream is one of my favorites, as it combines creamy milk ice cream with a fruity note. Of course, it tastes even better when you make it yourself.
Did you know that Amarena cherries originally come from Emilia-Romagna, a region in northern Italy? They are preserved in a special sugar syrup that brings out their intense flavor and unique sweetness.
You should be able to find Amarena cherries in the canned fruit section of any well-stocked supermarket. You can also order them online*
As you won’t need the whole jar for the Amarena cherry ice cream, you can also use the delicious cherries for other desserts. They also taste great with a little natural yogurt. If you have any other ideas for using them, please let me know in the comments.
If you still need the Ninja Creami** for this, you can also order it directly here:
