<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I’ve had an Airfryer for what feels like forever, but I only really use it to make fresh chips or bake bread rolls. But it’s actually too good just for that. Since I was recently asked what I actually do with it, I decided to try out a few things. The BBQ chicken airfryer recipe was a success on the first try. The small pieces of chicken fillet are perfect as a starter or as small snacks.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You only need 3 ingredients, unless you want to make the BBQ sauce yourself. If you don’t have an airfryer, you can also prepare the recipe in the oven. Simply preheat the oven to 210 °C fan. However, the baking time will roughly double here.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">An airfryer is a type of small oil fryer that allows you to fry food with less oil or even without oil. Most airfryers use a combination of air and heating technology to heat and cook the food, making it crispy and delicious. One advantage of the airfryer is that it is a healthier alternative to conventional deep fryers as it requires less oil. This means that the food you cook in it has fewer calories and contains less fat.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Airfryer is also very versatile and is suitable for frying various foods such as chips, chicken wings and even vegetables. You can also cook smaller foods such as chicken thighs or fish fillets in it. In our case, the Airfryer is ideal for preparing these delicious BBQ chicken fillet pieces.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For me, the biggest advantage of a hot air fryer is that everything simply goes faster. If you just want to make one portion, you don’t need to preheat the whole oven. Bread rolls, for example, are baked in just 6 minutes and taste almost as if they have just been baked. If you’re still hesitating between a hot air fryer or a mini oven, I would definitely recommend the hot air fryer.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The BBQ sauce goes perfectly with the bacon. You can use ready-made BBQ sauce or mix your own. BBQ sauce is usually made from tomato paste, vinegar, sugar and various spices such as paprika, garlic and mustard. Some recipes also contain fruit juices such as orange juice or pineapple to add a sweeter note.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">BBQ sauce is not only delicious, but also very versatile. You can use it as a marinade for meat to season and cook it, or simply use it as a dip for chips or other crispy snacks. How about a fresh portion of chips from the Airfryer to go with the chicken?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If BBQ sauce doesn’t suit your taste at all, you can of course use another sauce of your choice as a marinade.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Preparing chicken in the Airfryer:</h3>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Cut the chicken breast into small strips approx. 4 cm long.</li>



<li>Wrap the bacon around the chicken pieces.</li>



<li>Brush with a little BBQ sauce.</li>



<li>Bake in the Airfryer at 190 °C for 8 minutes.</li>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">If normal potato wedges are too boring for you and you want to prepare your potatoes in a different way, these crispy jacket potatoes are just the thing for you. The crispy potatoes from the oven are easy to make and can be easily adapted to your personal taste by adding different spices. They are a great accompaniment to meat or fish. Together with a fresh salad, baked jacket potatoes make a simple, healthy dish.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">A <a href="https://amzn.to/33Qb6Po">silicone brush*</a> is best for brushing the mashed potatoes. If you don’t like thyme or rosemary, you can simply use other herbs in the marinade. If you like it a little spicier, simply add some chilli powder to the marinade and you will have spicy, hot baked potatoes.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">Small potatoes are best for the mashed potatoes. These are cooked more quickly and also become a little crispier later in the oven.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">If you have made too many mashed potatoes, don’t worry. You can simply reheat them in the oven the next day. To do this, simply put them back in the oven for approx. 10 minutes at 200°C fan oven. Baking them again will even make them a little crispier.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">Preparation:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">1. cook the potatoes in salted water with the skin on. Depending on size, 20-25 minutes.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">2. in the meantime, mix the olive oil, thyme, rosemary, paprika powder, salt and pepper to make a marinade.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Raleway;">Preheat the oven to 230°C fan.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">3. carefully flatten the cooked potatoes on a baking tray using a glass. They should be just under a cm high.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Raleway;">Brush with the marinade.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Raleway;">4. bake the potatoes in the oven for approx. 25 minutes.</span></p>
