Mug cakes from the hot air fryer

Chocolate mug cake from the air fryer

You probably know these cup cakes from the microwave. Simply mix a few ingredients in a cup and “bake” in the microwave. At best, the taste can be improved. The small cup cakes from the air fryer are a slightly better option.
They are similarly easy to prepare, but I think they taste a lot better because they are baked properly and don’t burn in the wrong places so easily.

The hot convection air makes the small cakes slightly crispy on the outside, while they remain wonderfully moist on the inside. A big advantage: you don’t need an oven or a lot of time – the cup cakes from the hot air fryer are ready in just a few minutes.

These chocolate mug cakes from the air fryer are perfect if you fancy a little cake between meals or want to prepare a small dessert.
Depending on your taste, you can add a little chocolate sauce to the cakes or add some cream or fruit to the cup.

Depending on how much space you want to leave in the cup, this recipe makes 2 or 3 portions.
