Feta bites from the air fryer

These feta bites from the air fryer are the perfect finger food for your next party. They are wonderful easy to prepare, but of course taste best when slightly warm.

We ate a similar version as a starter on our last vacation in Greece. So of course I had to try to recreate this delicious snack at home. On vacation, we were served the feta bites deep-fried, of course. However, you can save a lot of fat in the air fryer and the small cubes are still just as delicious.

You can either eat this delicious snack on its own or serve it as party finger food. Alternatively, the delicious feta bites also taste great as a salad topping and add an extra portion of protein to your salad.

In the classic version, you can prepare the delicious feta bites with cornflakes. However, the tortilla breading makes them even spicier and just as crispy. You can conjure up your own version using different types of tortilla. I prefer to use the classic paprika variety.

Depending on your taste, you can drizzle a little bit of honey on top or dip the small cheese cubes in a sauce of your choice.

Tortilla Feta Bites snack from the hot air fryer

Yields1 Serving

 300 g Feta or shepherd's cheese
 2 Tbsp flour
 1 Egg
 60 g Tortilla Chips

Cut the feta into 1.5 cm pieces

Roll the pieces in flour.

Whisk the egg and turn the floured pieces in it.

Crumble the tortilla chips and coat the feta pieces in them.

Bake for approx. 12 minutes in the hot air fryer at 200 °C.
