Pudding ice cream – Ninja Creami recipe

Ice cream made from custard? It may sound strange at first, especially because you don’t usually find this flavor in the ice cream parlor next door. If you like trying out new types of ice cream, you should definitely put this recipe on your to-do list. The preparation is super simple and the ice cream recipe does not require any eggs.

This pudding ice cream recipe is a Ninja Creami recipe**. Alternatively, you can freeze the ice cream mixture in ice cube trays and chop in a high-speed blender.

As the Ninja Creami** is really easy to prepare, I always like to try out new and unusual ice cream flavors.

If you don’t eat the whole container at once, you can simply freeze it again. The chocolate drops are reduced in size with this variant and mix with the pudding ice cream.

If you need more containers, you can find them here*:

Ingredients

  • 250 ml Milch
  • 0,5 Päckchen Puddingpulver
  • 30 g Zucker
  • 2 EL Schokotropfen

Preparation of pudding ice cream:

1) Cook the pudding with milk, pudding powder and sugar according to the packet instructions (note: we use more sugar here than the packet instructions say)

2) Place in a Ninja Creami** container and freeze for at least 12 hours

3) Allow to thaw for approx. 10 minutes before processing. Then process into creamy ice cream using the light ice cream mode. If necessary, repeat with the respin mode until the desired consistency is achieved (I used the respin mode twice more for this ice cream).

4) Add the chocolate drops as a mix in and stir in using the Extras mode
